Employees, Customers, and Suppliers Need Different Exposure Workflows

TUT1 cover for Employees, Customers, and Suppliers Need Different Exposure Workflows

One exposure signal does not justify one universal response.

Employee identities may require HR-approved communication, endpoint review, access revocation, and privileged-account checks. Customer identities need privacy-aware notifications, authentication protections, and support coordination. Supplier identities often require contractual escalation, scope confirmation, and joint remediation.

Treating all three populations the same creates two problems: too much access to sensitive data and too little accountability for the right owner.

The technical map also differs. Employees may connect to SSO and VPN. Customers may use portals and APIs. Suppliers may access integrations, support platforms, and shared data paths.

Identity risk is contextual because relationships are contextual.

TUT1 helps teams organize external identity-exposure signals by population and correlate them with the domains, services, and digital relationships that need validation.
